emeril... i'm sorry that i ever doubted you. despite the fact that my idol anthony bourdain has no reservations about lambasting you, it turns out, you can actually cook! (or at least the chefs in your branded restaurants can.)
tucked away in the super cute french district, it looks rustic but serves up what emeril dubs "new new orleans" cuisine. jalapeno-studded cornbread, shrimp and grits, garlicky drum fish, and duck confit and egg pizza... this is heaven on a plate.
be sure to hop over a couple of blocks to bourbon street when you're finished to sip on an, ahem, post-dinner digestif. :)
