labor day weekend in nyc

...was, in a word, blissful.

it included a sunny saturday brunch at cafe minerva,

strolls around the cutest neighbourhood in town,

a grassy nap in central park

more adventures in domesticity (to be further detailed),

dinner at jean-georges' abc kitchen (also to be further detailed and criticized heartily :P),

and gelato at amorino! a shop that we also saw many, many times in barcelona and london

the best part was being able to choose as many flavours as my indecisive heart desired. this gorgeous cone included petals of  coconut, strawberry, biscotti, salted caramel, and chocolate & hazelnut

life is yummy :)
